Lakselva and its tributary Vuollajohka is known for its big grayling. Lakselv land owners association manages the anadromous stretch of the Lakselva waterway. This stretch also offers a great fishing for large grayling, and we have a maximum quota of four dry-fly licenses per day for zones three and four. These zones offers many good spots for grayling, and is well worth a try. The prices for a dry fly licenses is 200 NOK per day.

Grayling sized a kilo is more common than uncommon, and the two kilo mark is broken from time to time. Imagine the back fin of a grayling weighing two kilos!
