Patosuanto is a great pool which is very accesible from both banks of the Lakselva. The pool is found approximately between these two markings, and as you can see by it's size, it's room for more than one fisherman here. The top part of the pool has a rather prominent deep run close to the west bank, fishable from both banks. Naturally fish will hold mostly in this current. A fun fact is that in the rapids just above the start of the pool, you might be able to see salmon crossing the shallows.
Further down the river quiets down, and the current is evenly distributed from bank to bank. The river itself is quite homogenous at this spot, and fish might be holding all throughout the pool. Many committ the mistake of wading here, and this is not advisable, since you will both scare fish, and you might even have fish jumping behind your back if you do this.
