Zone 2 is with it's 11 kilometres the longest zone in Lakselva. It starts upstream of Holmen bru, and ends in the big turbulent pool by the end of the road on Klemetstad. The river in zone 2 is both complex and varied, and it's in this zone you will find the biggest changes from year to year, especially in certain places. The spring flood erodes the sandy river banks, giving it a little face lift every year.


Tiensuu is one of the many great fishing spots in zone 2, and it's just upstream from Tiensuu you will find the area where the clay is washed into the river, thus causing it to occasionally turn grey from here and down. Though, that didn't seem to stop this fellow from hooking on.

Zone 2 is complex in a way that it has a more varied ownership structure, and it's in zone 2 you will find most private properties. Allthough, these are well marked, and with it's 11 kilometres, there's still plenty of fishing spots available. Read on to get a brief description of most of them.
