Gojerrikuoppa is found directly downstream of Oivunen, and it's easiest rocognized by a slowing down of the current, and the river widening a little bit. It's only a small pool, and directly after it comes the rapids forming "Kobbefossen" - the most violent rapids in Lakselva. Gojerrikuoppa means "the sea trout pool", but it's also a decent pool for salmon fishing.

This picture shows Gojerrikuoppa. For your information, the highway - E6 - is found behind some trees on the opposite bank, and you can barely spot the safety fences. To find Gojerrikuoppa on a map, click here.
