If you park your car here, and follow the road down to the river, Patokuoppa is the first pool you will arrive at. Patokuoppa is a rather deep pool which is formed when the Lakselva reunites after having been split into two courses. The pool has got a lot of turbulence and currents which makes it a bit tricky to fish, especially in the middle part, but the pool undoubtedly holds fish. Going out of Patokuoppa, you will also find a nice current who should be tested if you're in the area.
