Väliniva is best know as Flatsteinen (The Flat rock), and it's a small, yet popular spot in zone 3. Väliniva is fishable from both banks, but the majority seem to prefer the easily accesible east bank, just by the E6. Here we also have a table set up for the fishermen to use. This spot is fished at different water levels, but most prefer it when it's a decent amount of water in the river. If you don't know where this place is, click here.

This pictures shows Väliniva from the west. In the top, right hand corner of this picture, you see the rocks most people prefer to fish from. When the water is low, you may also wade out to the flat rock which has given this pool it's nick-name, and fish from that.
